Sagebeam SMS Policy

Sagebeam, Inc. ("Sagebeam", "we", "our", or "us") provides optional SMS text message notifications to help families stay updated on caregiving activities. This SMS Policy describes how we use SMS and how you can manage your preferences.

1. How You Opt In

You may opt in to SMS by entering your mobile number on the Settings → Notifications page inside your Sagebeam account.

We will not send SMS messages unless you have explicitly provided your number for this purpose.

By opting in, you authorize Sagebeam to send text messages to the number you provide.

2. Types of Messages You May Receive

Depending on your settings, Sagebeam may send:

Caregiver Updates

  • Real-time alerts when caregivers submit handoff notes
  • Urgent, Soon, or FYI updates related to your parent's care

Daily Summaries

  • Optional once-per-day digest summarizing caregiving activity and tasks

Account & Access

  • Messages necessary for account access (e.g., login support or verification, if enabled)

We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on caregiving activity and your selected preferences. You may receive between 0–10 messages per day depending on caregiver updates.

4. Opt Out at Any Time

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying:

  • STOP — cancel all SMS notifications
  • INFO — view available commands

You may also disable SMS notifications from Settings → Notifications in your account.

Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use Sagebeam.

5. Costs

Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier. Sagebeam does not charge additional fees for SMS.

6. Privacy & Data Use

We value your privacy.

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.
  • Your number is used solely to deliver the notifications you enable.
  • SMS content may include caregiver updates you or your team submit.

7. Availability & Delivery

Delivery of SMS messages may be subject to your carrier's network availability, device settings, or third-party service limitations. Sagebeam is not responsible for delays or failures outside our control.
